Privacy Notice

Who we are

La Mue / μ is a private hair, skin and transformation practice based in Wortegem-Petegem, Belgium, and Marbella, Spain, founded by Andreea Vandendriessche. We are responsible for the personal information you share with us (the “data controller”).

The information we collect

• When you enquire — your name, the contact details you use (usually your email address), and whatever you choose to tell us about what you are looking for.
• When you book a treatment — the details needed to care for you safely, including relevant skin and health information, allergies, pregnancy and medication for facials, and your hair history and preferences. Health information is treated as sensitive and handled with extra care.
• For Mentoring and Soul Architecture — the birth date, time and place you provide, and any personal background you choose to share, used only to prepare your session or manuscript.
• Payment — handled through a payment provider; we do not store your card details.

How we collect it

By email, and in conversation before and during your appointment.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

• To respond to your enquiry and arrange your appointment (our legitimate interest and, once booked, our agreement with you).
• To provide your service safely (performance of our agreement; for health information, your explicit consent).
• To send you only what you have asked for (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).

Sensitive information

We collect health and skin information only where it is needed to keep a treatment safe, and only with your consent. Your Soul Architecture and Mentoring details are used solely to create what you have commissioned, and for nothing else.

Who we share it with

We never sell your information. We share it only with the trusted providers who help us operate — our email provider, our website host, our payment provider, and, for a Soul Architecture commission, the printer and binder, who receive only what is needed to produce your manuscript. We may also share information where the law requires it.

Information held outside the EEA

Some providers (for example email or hosting services) process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, appropriate safeguards are in place.

How long we keep it

Only as long as we need it for our relationship with you and to meet our legal obligations, after which it is securely deleted.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or receive a copy — and you can withdraw your consent at any time. To do so, contact us at andreea@lamue.maison. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority — in Belgium the Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be), in Spain the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).

Cookies

This site does not track you for advertising. To understand how the site is used and improve it, we use Microsoft Clarity, which shows anonymous statistics such as scroll depth and clicks. For visitors in Europe, Clarity sets no cookies and collects only cookieless, anonymous data. Text you type into forms is masked. Microsoft processes this data as our provider; see the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

We take reasonable care to keep your information safe and to limit who can access it.
